The rights-based social service standard, as an umbrella document, was developed by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia with the involvement of stakeholders. The purpose of the document is to promote the implementation of a rights-based approach in service-providing organizations.
The standards were created with the support of the European Union within the framework of the ongoing three-year project (2019-2022) "Development of rights-based social services for persons with disabilities and the elderly", which is implemented by the Strategic Research and Development Center of Georgia with two partner organizations - the Association for the Protection of Public Interests of Georgia (Telavi, Kakheti) and together with Young Pedagogues Union (Ozurgeti, Guria).
