The Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia has been working with both local and regional civil organizations and initiative groups in the direction of strengthening public organizations since 1998.
The aim of the program is to raise public awareness of the activities of civil organizations, to strengthen trust in them, and also to develop the capacities of the civil sector through technical and informational support.
The organization believes that one-time training or project-related financial support is not enough to make public organizations strong actors. Accordingly, the approach of the direction team envisages long-term work with public organizations. Which, in turn, contributes to the development of the knowledge and skills of the personnel of the mentioned organizations, as well as organizational systems and procedures. This type of support allows public organizations to retain employees, attract new partners and patrons.
The management team constantly offers consulting and educational services tailored to the needs of the interested parties, which enable them to improve the management system of the organization, retrain employees, offer their customers a service of the appropriate standard and, most importantly, ensure the financial and institutional sustainability of the organization.
Also, the program team provides in-depth consulting services, which include the evaluation of the level of organizational development of public organizations, the development of a development plan, strategic planning, the creation of an action plan, and others.
As you can see, the organization's services are diverse and mostly coincide with the activities of the current projects and directions of the organization itself. Accordingly, the educational or consulting activities developed by CSRDG experts are mostly tailored to the real needs and situations of different groups.
In total, the organization trained more than 20,000 representatives of public organizations and civil activists, 92.3% of whom reported that they actively use the knowledge and skills they received as a result of the training.
